Fall only lasts for one month - October, the month of turning. On October first, it's still like summer. By October 31st, the leaves are for the most part gone and winter is at the doorstep. Darkness prevails and the sun, when it manages to shine, is weak and easily discouraged.

On Saturday I went to Hidden Lake Gardens to shot senior photos of a friend. It is such a beautiful place, especially this time of year. Go there in the next couple of weeks if you can.
